Thank you for joining us at the 26th Run for the Rock 5k in Black Rock neighborhood of
Bridgeport. It was the hottest in our history and we appreciate you being there. We
registered a record number (over 295) and hope you all had a great time and enjoyed our
new course changes. (remember- it’s a new course so everyone of you actually set your
own course record for the day)
I would like to apologize for the delay in posting these results. There were more than a
few problems that occurred on race day and we have taken the time to do the best reporting
possible. You can help by contacting us if you are listed without a full name or an
incorrect time and we can try to get it posted.
There were over 37 pull tags from race day registrations that were not filled out properly with all the needed information. Additionally there were a number of people who finished but whose pull tags were not given to us (that’s where you see ??? as a name and age).
In a standard road race the ‘pull tag’ of the bib is the key to all results for the timers. Staying in the same order of finishing while handing the tag in is the way we can identify you. We know many people in this race might be new to the sport so we understand the mixups that can occur! No problem, we can help out and hopefully we will see you at another race soon!
Of course if you see a mistake or know who the missing people are - let us know and we
will try our best to get it right.
Thanks again for choosing to join us and (for some of you first timers) seeing a beautiful
side of Bridgeport you never knew existed. We hope you'll visit again as you gain new
perspectives of CT's biggest City. It's not nicknamed the "Park City" for
nothing!

It as at this point in the race where the ‘time machine’ we were using, ran out of paper…thus we started to quickly write down each individual’s time as they crossed the finish line. As you might expect it was a bit difficult when multiple people crossed at the same time. We know there could be some errors from this point.
