Meg O'Brien is a Branford High School Student, class of 2011. She has selected as her Senior Graduation Exhibit, the 7th Annual Run For The Ribbons and has determined the net proceeds will beneift the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Connecticut.

Joe Riccio, as Race Director, is Meg's Content Consultant and will guide and supervise her, as she carries out the responsibilities of Race Coordinator.

Accurately measured Trail Course
USATF Sanctioned Race
Split times at miles 1, 2, & 3 by Branford High School Cross Country Team
Water stations on the 5K course and 2 mile walk course
Computerized results and timing by Start Line Race Services
Results will be posted on the HI-TEK Racing website: www.hitekracing.com

HIGHLIGHTS
Commemorative T-shirts by Graphic FX for all pre-registered entrants and as available on race day
Finishers Ribbon for everyone
Music and entertainment by John Voket 99 Dollar DJ Service
Post race refreshments will be a sumptuous buffet of seasonal food and beverages

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Runners and walkers will start and finish at Tommy Sullivan's.
3.45 MILE RACE: The first 1/2 mile and last 1/2 mile will be run on asphalt surface.
2.45 miles will be off road on the Branford High School cross-country course.

2 MILE WALK: 1 mile out and back on the asphalt surface of the Branford Supply Pond.

RESTRICTIONS
To ensure the safety of all out runner and walkers, note that MP3 players, bicycles, inline skates,  skateboards. pets and unregistered runners will not be allowed on the courses.

AWARDS
Trophies by DOLLAR SIGN will be awarded to first overall finishers (male and female)
and to the top 3 finishers in each age division (male & female).
First Branford resident (Male and Female) will receive special awards
Runners are encouraged to review the race results before leaving Tommy Sullivan's.
You never know. It could be your day!
AGE DIVISIONS
12 and Under; 13-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80-89, 90+

FOR THE SURVIVORS
Breat cancer survivors who wished to be recognized will, be given a special complimentary t-shirt and top 10 will
receive special awards.
TRIBUTE PLACARDS: Anyone may dedicate his/her participation to someone special by wearing the
"In Memory Of" or "In Celebration Of" signs on one's back.
Placards will be provided.

DIRECTIONS
I:95 NORTH - Exit 54 (Cedar Street), right off ramp to traffic light, left onto North Main Street.
Tommy's will be 0.7 miles on the left.
I-95 SOUTH: Exit 54 (Cedar Street), left off ramp, at 2nd traffic light, take a left and follow above directions.

2 MILE WALK - $10.00 before September 25th - $12.00
